Bozeman Spirits Distillery was founded in 2012 by Jim Harris in Big Sky Country, Montana. After almost two years of planning and a complete build out of a historic building in Downtown Bozeman, the distillery opened its doors on Halloween 2014!
Just south of Bozeman lies the Gallatin mountain range. With several drainages that emerge from the snow-capped peaks, water meanders its way from the mountain top, to the bar top, and eventually into your glass. Using pure Montana water and Montana grains whenever possible, their award winning spirits are distilled and bottled in historic downtown Bozeman, Montana.
Bozeman operates two stills: The Arnold Holstein still is used to make their Montana Ruby River Gin, while the second still is a 300 gallon Artisan with a four and sixteen plate column. All of their signature whiskey, vodka, rum, and tequila/mezcal are distilled in 300 gallon batches. Bozeman Spirits Distillery is proud to support Montana agriculture and family farms by using as many local grains as possible. Drink local, drink Montana!
