When they moved to their home in Portland, Flooded Fox Den’s Distillers saw the beauty of the Northwest in their backyard. There, a small fox used a hole created by their downspout as her den. The rains would fill the hole with water and the fox had to move her pups to a shelter under their deck. As soon as the sun came out and the hole dried, the fox would put her pups back in again. This was her place, the one she wanted as her den. They named their distillery after this fox, because they want to honor the spirit of the place they call home –indomitable, persistent, inquisitive.
Flooded Fox Den Distillery spirits are produced in Forest Grove, Oregon, using a small, single batch process that allows the flavor and quality of each bottle to be precisely controlled. They only use the finest natural ingredients, and shun artificial flavorings or coloring. Each bottle is numbered by hand, because they are extremely proud of what they do. While their spirits are top shelf quality, they harked back to a time when they couldn't afford fine spirits and want more to people to enjoy fine, craft made spirits.
