Kishor’s story began in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, where he and his family spent Sundays doing charitable work in underprivileged communities. He explored medicine, business, and aviation, obtaining his MD, MBA, and pilot’s license. His varied career found him running distillation and purification facilities, as well as an edible oil production venture. At Kilimanjaro Distillery, he comes full circle, using his love of science to carefully craft small batch spirits in Allentown, where the distillery helps diversify and revitalize the local economy.
Niky’s journey has been fueled by a passion for bringing people of diverse backgrounds together to make the world a richer place. She’s explored the nature of connection and collaboration and its power to drive meaningful change. Her work has led her around the globe and across disciplines, with contributions in global health and social entrepreneurship. Because she knows every choice we make impacts people and the environment, a percentage of all profits from Xplorer Spirits are used to provide clean drinking water to communities in need through the Tanzania Water Project and to the local Meals on Wheels Pennsylvania community. The Chokshi family believes everyone’s life is a unique journey to be savored through genuine experiences and meaningful connections.
