They call themselves 'The Batchers' in honor of the early farmers of northwest Connecticut, a region that became known for its ample yields of wheat, sweet corn, and barley. Coaxing these crops from the distinctively rocky, mineral-rich terrain took a certain type of grit and determination.
The Batchers' philosophy is rooted in the local movement and the art of small-batch craftsmanship. They take the best local farmers have to offer and craft fine spirits one batch at a time. The farmers do the growing, Litchfield’s Distillers do the batching, and you get a little share in this luscious little section of Connecticut called Litchfield County. Combine all ingredients and shake for 15 seconds. Pour over ice into rocks glass. Garnish with lemon wheel or seasonal herbs like mint, lavender or rosemary.
Combine Bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup in shaker and shake. Strain into rocks glass filled with ice, slowly pour float of red wine over ice.
Combine all ingredients with ice in shaker and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. The egg white is optional, but recommended as it helps create a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel.
Mix Vodka and Lemonade together. Pour over ice in a Collins glass. Garnish with lemon wheel and rosemary.
