East Tennessee Distillery and Roberson’s Tennessee MelloMoon moonshine is steeped in the tradition of the Appalachian Mountains. Nestled in the hills of Piney Flats, East Tennessee Distillery produces award-winning moonshine for their customers in Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois.
Initially trained by the Navy to distill drinking water from the sea, Master Distiller Tiny Roberson refined his technical skills of working over 12 years as a lab technician and analyst for two very large corporations. Using this knowledge and his interest in ‘fine tasting shine,’ Tiny crafted small batches of ‘liquid sunshine’ in his garage and shared his moonshine to an ever-growing fan base.
Tiny’s hobby became a business when one of his fans came back from vacation and brought him an order for 400 cases. At the same time, the State of Tennessee began licensing select moonshine operations. So Tiny got the paperwork together and launched the business officially.

Oma's Cure


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup hot tea
  • 1 jigger 100 proof MelloMoon
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 lemon or orange, squeezed
Directions:
Mix all into tea and feel better!

The Mountain Madras


Ingredients:
  • 1 dash orange juice
  • 1 dash Rose's sweetened lime
  • 1.5 oz. 100 Proof Sippin' Shine
  • 4.5 oz. cranberry juice
Directions:
Fill an old fashioned glass halfway up with ice. Pour all the ingredients in. Serve with a straw for sitrring and sipping. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Shine & Sweet Tea


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. MelloMoon Sippin’ Shine
  • 22 oz. sweet tea

Moonshine Slushies


Ingredients:
  • ½ qt. cranberry juice
  • 2 cups Mellomoon 100-proof Sippin’ Shine
  • One 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, defrosted
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a large plastic container. Freeze for several hours. It will not freeze solid, but rather achieve the consistency of a slushy. Scoop into punch cups or wine glasses, serve and enjoy!

Cross Country Flaming Monkey


Ingredients:
  • 1 can Red Bull
  • 1 oz. MelloMoon 150 Proof
  • 1 oz. MelloMoon Banana Shine
  • Lime garnish

Dark Moon


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. MelloMoon 150 Proof
  • 1 oz. MelloMoon Caramel Shine
  • 1 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 oz. chilled dark coffee

  • 3 oz. ginger beer
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a highball over ice and garnishw ith a lime wheel.

Sex on the Creek


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1.5 oz. orange or pineapple juice
  • 2.5 oz. MelloMoon Peach Shine
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice and garnish with an orange slice. Enjoy!

Piney Peach Tea


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. MelloMoon Peach Shine
  • 4 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, defrosted
Directions:
Pour in a glass over ice, stir to preference. Find a nice place to relax and enjoy!

Peach Mango Daiquiri


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 2 oz. MelloMoon Peach Shine
  • 4 oz. Mango Daiquiri Mix
Directions:
Real simple here folks: just blend, pour, and enjoy!

Rise-N-Shine


Ingredients:
  • 1 part Roberson's MelloMoon Ghost in the Holler Moonshine
  • 4 parts bloody mary mix
