Their recipe for Ginskey™ Barrel Aged Gin starts with Boulder Spirits signature Award Winning Boulder Gin that they distill in small batches with the finest, hand selected botanicals and ingredients. They then age their Gin to perfection for a minimum of 2 years! Yes, you read that right, aged for two or more years, which if you know your Barrel Aged Gin is rare as most distilleries age their gin for a year or less to rush it to market. Not Boulder Spirits! They let their Boulder Gin age for two or more years in New, #2-char, American Oak Barrels to produce the rich smoky caramel, vanilla, and warm spicy oak flavors more commonly associated with whiskey – Hence the name 'Ginskey' which they think is the perfect description for this unique 'Brown Gin' only attempted by a handful of distilleries in the entire country.

Lower Manhattan


Ingredients:
  • .25 oz. Maraschino cherry juice
  • .5 oz. cherry cordial
  • 1 dash of bitters
  • 2 oz. Boulder Ginskey Barrel-Aged Gin
  • Cherry, for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in an ice filled mixing tin and stir. Strain into a martini glass and top with bitters. Garnish with a cherry and a cinnamon stick.

Great Gatsby


Ingredients:
  • .25 oz. lime juice
  • 1.5 oz. Boulder Ginskey Barrel-Aged Gin
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • Ginger beer
  • Lemon slice, for garnish
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
Directions:
Add Boulder Ginskey barrel aged gin and lime juice to an ice filled highball glass, top with ginger beer. Add two dashes of bitters and garnish with a lemon slice and mint sprig.

Maple Mint Julep


Ingredients:
  • .25 oz. maple syrup
  • 2 Mint leaves, plus one for garnish
  • 2 oz. Boulder Ginskey Barrel-Aged Gin
  • Club soda
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except club soda in a dry mixing tin, muddle, add ice, and shake vigorously. Pour into a rocks glass, and top with club soda. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

Ginskey Sour


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 dash of bitters
  • 1.5 oz. Boulder Ginskey Barrel-Aged Gin
  • 2 lemon slices, reserve one for garnish
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a dry mixing tin and muddle, add ice and shake. Pour into a rocks glass, and garnish with a lemon slice.

All That Jazz


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. lemon juice
  • .5 oz. sinnamon simple syrup
  • 1 oz. grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz. Boulder Ginskey Barrel-Aged Gin
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish
  • Grapefruit Italian soda
  • Grapefruit slice, for garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except soda in an ice filled mixing tin, shake, and pour into a collins glass. Top with grapefruit Italian soda. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and a cinnamon stick.
