Jewell Distillery is locally owned and operated by Michael and Barbara Jewell whose sole focus is creating unique and great tasting small batch spirits. They first opened in June of 2016 and now offer Gold Medal Award winning spirits. Jewell Distillery is located in sunny Blue Lake along the Mad River in Humboldt County, California.
At Jewell Distillery, they’re committed to the fine art of distilling. Their belief is that good food and great tasting spirits are best shared with family and friends. Having lived off-grid up in the mountains of Humboldt County now for over 15 years, they began developing their unique products with a still from the Calabrese family, last used during prohibition. To this day, they continue to produce their spirits in small, handcrafted batches.
With every sip, you become part of this great legacy. All of their spirits are blended with pure mountain spring water to capture the finest flavors possible. They honor the colorful and sometimes shady history of those who’ve always insisted on the freedom to create the very best.

Classic Martini


Ingredients:
  • 1/4-1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 2 oz Jewell Gin
Directions:
Shake & strain into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with olive or lemon to taste.

Trail Blazer


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Jewell Gin
  • Pellegrino Limonata
Directions:
Build cocktail over ice into an Old Fashioned glass and garnish with lemon zest.

Sparkling Buddha


Ingredients:
  • Soda
  • 1/2 oz citron simple syrup
  • 2 oz Big Buddha Citron Vodka
Directions:
Build cocktail over ice in an Old Fashioned glass and garnish with a lemon slice or zest.

Thai Buddha Toddy


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Big Buddha Citron Vodka
  • Hot Thai Ginger Infused Tea (Thai ginger, lemongrass, Kaffir lime leaves, and lemon)
Directions:
Build cocktail in an Irish coffee mug and garnish with candied ginger or lemon wheel.

Seventh Heaven


Ingredients:
  • 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • 2 oz Jewell Gin
  • Fresh pink grapefruit juice
Directions:
Build cocktail over ice into an Old Fashioned glass and garnish with a Luxardo cherry.

Bijou (Jewell)


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 1 oz Jewell Gin

Stir & strain ingredients into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with a slice of orange peel.

Hanky Panky


Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz Jewell Gin
  • 1 oz Red Vermouth
  • 1/8 oz Fernet Branca

Amaro Negroni


Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz Jewell Gin
  • 1 oz Campari bitters
  • 1 oz Gentian Amaro
