Tucked away in the northwest corner of Connecticut, there’s a small batch distillery honoring the grit and determination of the area’s early farmers. Founded by three brothers, Litchfield Distillery is producing a wide range of award-winning craft spirits, and their product line keeps growing.
Litchfield Distillery was founded in 2014 by David, Jack and Peter Baker. These brother grew up in the beverage business. For three generations, their family has been bottling Crystal Rock water. They learned what it means to provide a good drink and, more importantly, how to properly run a family business. Hoping to share the good fortune that comes with living in Connecticut, they opened the doors to Litchfield Distillery.
Litchfield Distillery’s award-winning line of craft spirits includes gin, vodka and bourbon. They don’t stop there. They elevate each of their craft spirits with uncommon infusions. From Vanilla Bourbon to Blueberry Vodka to their Barrel-Finished Gin, Litchfield Distillery has a bottle for every occasion and every taste.

The Litchfielder


Ingredients:
  • 0.50 oz. fresh maple syrup
  • 0.75 oz. Lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • lemon wheel garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and shake for 15 seconds. Pour over ice into rocks glass. Garnish with lemon wheel or seasonal herbs like mint, lavender or rosemary.

Litchfield Lemonade


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Batchers’ Vodka
  • 3 oz. Lemonade
  • Garnish: Lemon Wheel and Rosemary Sprig.
Directions:
Mix Vodka and Lemonade together. Pour over ice in a Collins glass. Garnish with lemon wheel and rosemary.

Batcher's CT Sour


Ingredients:
  • 0.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • Float of your favorite CT-Local red wine
Directions:
Combine Bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup in shaker and shake. Strain into rocks glass filled with ice, slowly pour float of red wine over ice.

Batchers' Northwest Corner


Ingredients:
  • 0.25 oz. Luxardo Amaretto
  • 0.25 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.75 oz. Lemon juice
  • 1 bar spoon apple butter
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Straight Bourbon
  • Egg white (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients with ice in shaker and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. The egg white is optional, but recommended as it helps create a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel.

Vodka Martini


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Dolin Dry Vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Vodka
  • 3 oz. Batchers’ Vodka
  • Barspoon Dolin Dry Vermouth
  • Dry Version:
  • Wet Version:
Directions:
Dry: Combine vodka & vermouth in mixing glass and stir for 10 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass & garnish with 3 large Spanish olives. Wet: Combine vodka, vermouth and bitters in mixing glass and stir for 10 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass & garnish with lemon peel.

Espresso Martini


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. coffee liqueur
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Vodka
  • Shot of chilled Espresso
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 12-15 seconds. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with 3 coffee beans.

Bee's Knees


Ingredients:
  • 0.75 fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.75 honey syrup
  • 2 oz. Batchers’ Gin
Directions:
Honey Simple Syrup: Make by combining 2 parts honey to 1 part warm water. Stir until incorporated well & refrigerate. ______________________ Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker and shake. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon wheel.

South Side


Ingredients:
  • .75 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • .75 oz. simple syrup
  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 6 mint leaves
Directions:
Combine all ingredients (except 1 mint leaf) and shake in shaker for 12-15 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with mint leaf.

Batcher's Spritz


Ingredients:
  • .75 oz. red grapefruit juice
  • .75 oz. simple syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Gin
  • 2 oz. Prosecco
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in large wine glass filled with ice. Stir gently then garnish with an orange wheel.

Elderflower Gin & Tonic


Ingredients:
  • .75 oz. Elderflower Liqueur (BigFish recommends Wood's High Mountain's Fleur de Sureau Elderflower L
  • 1.5 oz. Gin
  • Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic
Directions:
Stir gin and liqueur together, then top with tonic water. Garnish with cucumber slice and mint or a lime!

Spirit of Hard Work


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. maple syrup
  • 2 oz. Vanilla Bourbon
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Orange Peel, for Garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in mixing glass and stir for roughly 10 seconds. Strain into rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with orange peel, expressing oils over cocktail first.

The Barreled Martinez


Ingredients:
  • .25 oz. Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Gin
  • 1.5 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange Peel, for Garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and stir for 15 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with expressed orange peels. Enjoy!
