Pisquita is Marian Farms’ nod to pisco, the national spirit of Peru and Chile. Piscos have been compared to grappa, as they are both grape-based brandys, and tequila for its more herbal flavor. Marian Farms decided to make their own because of San Francisco’s special connection with pisco, where it was miners and sailors’ drink of choice for generations. Smooth and aromatic, Marian Farms’ distillate captures the essence of the grapes used to make it. The proof is in the Pisquita, which was the key ingredient in two different cocktails voted the 'Best of 2010.'

Pisquita Sour


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. orange juice
  • 0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1.5 oz. Pisquita
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together without ice and shake to emulsify ingredients. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Dry Pisquita Punch


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Dolin dry vermouth
  • 0.75 oz. Lemon juice
  • 1 oz. pineapple gum syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Pisquita
Directions:
Stir all ingredients together. Pour over ice.
