The result is memorable spirits and memorable stories. Share them both. Please note: Rumson’s does not chill filter their rums. Over time, sediment and esters can form. A quick shake will reconstitute the product.

The 'Guten Morgan'


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. honey simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 oz. fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson's Rum
Directions:
A Morgan Carney of Grafton Street, Cambridge creation. The Guten Morgan is a wonderfully, smooth, bit of citrus heaven. Perfect for any occasion on or off the boat. A Rumson's favorite. Shake and double strain over 3 large ice cubes. Garnish with a slice of orange. Honey Simple - add equal parts honey and water to a saucepan and bring to a simmer. You can then transfer the honey simple to a small bottle or container to use when creating your drinks.

Rumson's Pina Colada


Ingredients:
  • Maraschino Cherry
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 0.5 cup Ice
  • 2 oz. Coconut Cream
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • Pineapple Wedge
Directions:
Great rum makes a great pina colada and our simple recipe with Rumson’s Rum is the greatest!\nPuree ice, coconut cream, pineapple juice and Rumson’s Rum in a blender. Pour into hurricane glass and garnish with a pineapple slice and maraschino cherry.

Rumson's Nor-Easter


Ingredients:
  • Lime wedge
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
Directions:
Sailors in New England can all appreciate a good Nor’easter.\nPour ginger beer over ice in a pint or collins glass. Float Rumson’s Rum and garnish with lime wedge.

Rumson's Hurricane


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. Grenadine
  • 2 oz. Passion Fruit Juice
  • 0.25 oz. soda water
  • 3 oz. Rumson’s Rum
Directions:
You’ll think you’ve landed in New Orleans.\nShake all ingredients in a shaker half filled with ice. (You can substitute a half once of passion fruit syrup for juice) Strain into a Hurricane glass over ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.

Rumson's Carribean Day Dream


Ingredients:
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Lime wedge
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • 0.5 oz. coconut syrup
  • 2 splashes water
Directions:
Simple and sweet like a previous era.\nMix the coconut syrup, Angostura Bitters and water in an old fashioned glass. Add 2-3 ice cubes. Pour in Rumson’s Rum and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Rumson's Dirty Mojito


Ingredients:
  • Lime wedge
  • Club soda
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 oz simple syrup (one part water, one part sugar)
  • 1.5 oz Rumson’s Rum
Directions:
A refreshing spin on the Cuban classic.\nIn a highball glass lightly muddle the mint, simple syrup and lime juice. Add Rumson’s Rum and stir. Fill the glass with club soda and garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig.

Rumson's Red Skies


Ingredients:
  • Lime wedge
  • Ginger Ale
  • 0.5 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
Directions:
Red skies at night, Sailors Delight, red skies at morning, sailors take warning. This simple drink is the perfect way to celebrate tomorrow’s sail – (Sailor’s Delight) or, put the cranberry in first and start celebrating your lay day (Sailor’s Warning). Cheers!\nSailor’s Delight: Fill a pint glass with ice and ginger ale. Add Rumson’s Rum and a cranberry juice float. Garnish with lime wedge. Or, add the cranberry juice first for a Sailor’s Warning.

Darkuiri


Ingredients:
  • 0.25 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.75 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
Directions:
A classic Daiquiri with Rumson’s 'Dark' Rum.\nCombine ingredients, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Dog Catcher


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 1 oz. Cream of Coconut
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • 4 oz. pineapple juice
Directions:
Don’t get caught by the Dog Catcher.\nShake all ingredients with ice and strain into collins glass of cracked ice, garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.

Rumson's Snarky Dog


Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • Lemon or lime wedge
Directions:
A little sweet, a little bitter, very refreshing.\nRim a highball or collins glass with sugar. Add ice, Rumson’s Rum and grapefruit juice, then stir and garnish with lemon or lime wedge.

Spiced Rum Smash


Ingredients:
  • 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
  • 2 oz. Rumson's Spiced Rum
  • 4 mint leaves and one sprig of mint
  • Half a lemon quartered
Directions:
A good drink, maybe too good. Too easy to drink, so you may need to double the recipe so you don't have to get up and build another one quickly!\nMuddle all ingredients except Rum in a bar glass. Add Rum and shake with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over filled with finely crushed ice (snowball effect rising above glass) garnish with a sprig of mint.

Rumson's Punch


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Grenadine
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 2 oz. Orange Juice
  • 0.25 oz lime juice
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1 orange slice
  • 1 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • 1 oz. Rumson’s Spiced Rum
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
Directions:
An historic punch recipe just got better with Rumson’s Rum\nMix all with ice and shake, pour into collins or highball glass with orange slice garnish.

  • 0.25 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.75 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Spiced Rum

A spicy twist to this Hemingway classic.\nCombine ingredients, shake with ice and pour into a cocktail glass.

Hot Rumson's Spiced Cider


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Spiced Rum
  • Hot apple cider
  • Nutmeg (grated)
Directions:
Nothing goes better with hot cider than Rumson’s Spiced Rum.\nAdd hot cider to Rumson’s Spiced Rum and grate fresh nutmeg to garnish.

Perfect Storm


Ingredients:
  • Lime wedge
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer
  • Mint
  • 1 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • 1 oz. Rumson’s Spiced Rum
Directions:
A rare convergence and synergy of forces and flavors.\nAdd rocks to a pint or collins glass. Clap 3 – 5 mint leaves and add to glass. Add ginger beer and top with Rumson’s Spiced Rum and Rumson’s Rum. Garnish with lime wedge.

Rumson's Old Caribbean


Ingredients:
  • Club soda
  • 4 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Maraschino Cherry
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Grand Reserve
  • Orange wheel
Directions:
Our version of the Old Fashioned with rum of course.\nIn an old fashioned glass, muddle the bitters, sugar, orange wheel, cherry and a splash of soda. Remove the orange rind, fill glass with ice, add Rumson’s Grand Reserve, top with soda and stir. Garnish with a fresh orange wheel and cherry.

Rumson's Grand Breeze


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 2 oz. Rumson’s Grand Reserve
Directions:
Make your Sea Breeze Grand with Rumson’s Grand Reserve. You’ll smell the ocean.\nAdd all the ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice. Stir, and garnish with a lime wedge.

Ingredients:
  • Maraschino Cherry
  • 4 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. Rumson’s Rum
  • 0.25 oz. Rumson’s Coffee Rum
  • 0.25 oz. Rumson’s Grand Reserve
  • 0.5 oz. Coconut Liqueur
  • Juice of half a lemon
Directions:
Rumson’s spin on that Bahamian favorite.\nShake all ingredients with ice and strain into collins glass of cracked ice. Garnish with a cherry and top with Rumson’s® Grand Reserve float.

3 Dog Night


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Rumson's Coffee Flavored Rum
  • 0.5 oz. Rumson's Spice Flavored Rum
  • 1 oz. Rumson's Rum
  • 4 oz. coffee
  • Cinnamon stick (optional garnish)
  • Whipped cream, cream or milk
Directions:
A perfect compliment to après ski, a fireside chat or a simple winter dessert. Warm up with “3 Dog Night.”\nAdd coffee to rums, stir and top with your choice of whipped cream, cream or milk. Garnish with cinnamon stick.\n(Substitute Rumson’s Grand Reserve Rum for Rumson’s Rum for an even smoother taste)
