Gin Basil Smash

  • 0.75 oz. Lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz. Bar syrup
  • 2.25 oz. Schnapsleiche Gin
  • 6 to 8 large basil leaves (use one for garnish)
Put the basil leaves with 1 oz. of the Schnapsleiche Gin into a shaker and use a cocktail muddler to squeeze them. Add the remaining Schnapsleiche Gin, the lemon juice and bar syrup. Add ice and shake well. Pour through a strainer into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with a basil leaf. Enjoy!

Masla Mule

  • Ice
  • 3 oz. Fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 4.5 oz. (3 shots) Schnapsleiche Chai Vodka
  • Lime wheels for garnish
  • Local or organic ginger beer
1. Immediately pop some copper mule mugs or tall skinny glasses in your freezer to Netflix and chill, but emphasis on the chill and none of the Netflix.\n2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, measure your vodka and lime juice and get them acquainted with each other. They will probably hit it off. Woah, vodka and lime, you really are chummy together, seriously, get a room. “We did, it’s a pretty dope suite and we’re ready to mingle all up inside here. Can you give us a shake?” Ugh. Teenagers.\n3. Shake the bajeezus out of that thing.\n4. Throw some ice cubes into your serving vessel and pour the vodka-lime situation between the two mugs or glasses. Top both with the ginger beer; it should be hella fizzy and in a tizzy.\n5. Slice the radius of a lime wheel (I’m not even going to explain, so consider this a math pop quiz. Think carefully back to middle school math; your garnish depends on it.) and place on the rim of the mug or glass, and you’re well on your way to Chai bliss.
