Tall Ship Distillery is a dream come true for owner John Pantelakos. Over two years of 70-hour work weeks, plenty of determination, and the unwavering support of Mary, his wife of 35+ years, and his family and friends, he was able to open the first liquor distillery in the city of Dover, NH since the 1700’s.
On July 1, 2013 work began on the distillery. It took 13 months of acquiring all of the necessary equipment to produce, bottle, and label their products to be ready for inspection. Standing over 11 1/2 feet tall, a handmade 250 gallon all copper still and condenser tank built by the owner himself sits as the centerpiece and workhorse of Tall Ship.
Tall Ship Distillery opened for business on August 28, 2014, offering White Island Rum as their initial product, and the response was simply fantastic. Curious individuals on vacation from as far as Oslo, Norway, Los Angeles, Portland, as well as local New Englanders praised their creations, excited to be able to purchase their rum directly from Tall Ship Distillery to share and enjoy with friends.
John and the dedicated employees of Tall Ship Distillery would like to invite you to come to Tall Ship, take a tour, learn about their products, their history, and sample the spirits they are so proud to offer to their community. They now offer four varieties of Rum in both 375ml and 750ml bottles. They also offer a super smooth Vodka available in a 750ml bottle, as well as sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, hats, and glassware so you can support your local craft distilleries both in spirit and style!

Maloney with a Twist


Ingredients:
  • Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • Twist of orange, lemon & lime
Directions:
Fill glass full with ice. Top with Tall Ship 260 Vodka. Garnish with a twist of lemon, lime, and orange.

Tall Ship Peach Pina


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • .5 oz. coconut milk
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 1/2 fresh peach, cubed
Directions:
Combine all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a full glass of ice. Garnish with fresh peach and lemon slices.

Maloney Staycation


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Banana Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz. Cream of Coconut
  • 1.5 oz. strawberry puree
  • 2 oz. Coconut Water
Directions:
Combine ingredients over ice, shake vigorously and strain over ice. Garnish with a skewered strawberry and banana.

The 260 Tea


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. Razzmatazz
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 1.5 oz. pineapple juice
Directions:
Shake and Strain over ice. Top off with peach-raspberry-passion fruit black tea. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge.

Lavender Lemonade


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. lavender simple syrup
  • 4 oz. fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Combine ingredients over ice and shake vigorously! Pour into a glass and garnish with a fresh lemon wheel!

Tall Ship Limeade Cooler


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Blue Curaçao
  • 1 fresh squeezed lemon
  • 1/2 of a fresh squeezed lime
  • Simple Syrup to taste
Directions:
Garnish glass rim with blue sugar, fill with ice and set aside. Combine all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a garnished glass full of ice. Slowly, over the back of a spoon, top with 1/2 oz of Blue Curaçao.

Hero's Lemonade


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. lemonade
  • 0.25 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 0.75 oz. Strawberry Puree
  • 1.5 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • Garnish glass rim with Red Sugar
  • Red Sugar Rim Garnish
Directions:
Start with Blue Curacao in bottom of garnished glass. Add a generous amount of ice. In a shaker, combine 260 Vodka and lemonade over ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice into your red sugar rimmed glass. Spoon strawberry puree over the top of cocktail. Garnish with a strawberry slices.

The Zinger


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Tall Ship 260 Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • Fresh Tangerine Juice
Directions:
Combine the all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Pour over a full glass of ice and fill with fresh squeezed tangerine juice. Garnish with fresh rosemary.

Tall Ship Watermelon Cooler


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Watermelon Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. 260 Vodka
  • Fill with Lemonade
  • Top with Lemon-Lime Soda
Directions:
Build cocktail in glass. Ice down glass if preferred. Add 260 Vodka and Watermelon Liqueur. Stir and fill with Lemonade. Top with Lemon-Lime Soda. Garnish with a Lemon Wedge.

Bobbin on the Beach


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 0.5 oz. Amaretto
  • 1 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice grenadine, to taste
  • 1.5 oz. Tall Ship Cedar Island Spiced Rum
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in shaker over ice and shake vigorously! Strain over a full glass of ice and garnish with a fresh lemon wheel.

Not Your Mam's Rum & Coke


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Raspberry Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • Top with Cola
Directions:
Fill tall glass with ice. Add Cedar Island Spiced Rum and raspberry liqueur. Top with cola and stir. Garnish with a cherry.

Perfect Duet


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Amaretto
  • 1.5 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • Top with Cranberry Juice
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a high ball glass adding liquor first. Top with cranberry juice and garnish with a lime slice.

Pivot Perfector


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Tall Ship Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • Fresh Lime Wedge Squeeze
  • Top with 1893 Pepsi
Directions:
Pour Cedar Island Spiced Rum over a full glass if ice and top with 1893 Pepsi. Add a fresh lime wedge squeeze and stir. Garnish with a fresh lime wheel!

The Game Changer


Ingredients:
  • Top with Lemon-Lime Soda
  • 1 oz. Raspberry Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
Directions:
Combine Cedar Island Spiced Rum and raspberry liqueur in a shaker glass over ice and shake vigorously. Transfer to rocks glass and top with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with lime slices.

N.I.T.B.Y (Not In The Bunker Yet)


Ingredients:
  • Ginger Beer
  • 1.5 oz. Tall Ship Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Asian Pear & Ginger Sparkling Water
  • 1 oz. Mango Hemp Energy Drink
  • Kombucha
Directions:
Combine Cedar Island Spiced Rum, Mango Hemp Energy Drink, Asian Pear & Ginger Sparkling Kombucha and simple syrup over ice and shake vigorously. Strain over a full glass of ice and top with your favorite ginger beer. Garnish with a fresh lime wheel.

Weapon of Grass Destruction


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. fresh pineapple puree
  • 1 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • 1 oz. fresh cantaloupe juice
  • Dash of Grenadine
  • Top with Ginger Beer
Directions:
Combine Cedar Island Spiced Rum, pineapple puree, cantaloupe juice, and a dash of grenadine over ice and shake vigorously! Strain over a full glass of ice and top off with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Cedar Island Cherrybomb


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • 1.5 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
  • Fill with Cherry Cola
Directions:
Build cocktail in glass. Add Cedar Island Spiced Rum and Lime Juice over ice. Top with Cherry Coke and stir. Garnish with a Lime Wedge.

Malaga Island Manhattan


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.25 oz. cherry juice
  • 2 oz. Malaga Island Golden Barrel-Aged Rum
  • Dash of Bitters
Directions:
Build in a full glass of ice. Add Malaga Island Golden Barrel-Aged Rum, Sweet Vermouth, & Bitters. Stir to combine. Splash with Cherry juice. Garnish with a Cherry or 2.

Tall Ship Strawberry Sunrise


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Strawberry Liqueur
  • 1 Strawberry, Sliced
  • 1.5 oz. White Island Rum
Directions:
Combine White Island Rum, Strawberry Liqueur, and strawberries in a shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into an iced rocks glass. Garnish with strawberry or lime slices.

The Sweet Spot


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1.5 oz. White Island Rum
  • 1 oz. cherry juice (optional)
  • 1.5 oz. pomegranate juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Transfer to rocks glass and add ice as needed. Garnish with a cherry.

Short Game Changer


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. strawberry/rhubarb simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship White Island Rum
  • Fill with Sprite
Directions:
Pour 1oz White Island Rum over a full glass of ice. Top with Spite and a swirl of strawberry rhubarb simple syrup. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon wedge and/or strawberry slices.

New England Mojito


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. White Island Rum
  • 2 Blackberries or Black Raspberries
  • 2-3 Mint Leaves
  • 3-4 oz. cranberry juice
  • Top with Soda Water
Directions:
Muddle Blackberries and Mint Leaves in a shaker. Add ice, White Island Rum and Shake vigorously. Strain over iced glass and fill with Cranberry Juice. Garnish with a couple Mint Leaves and a Blackberry.

Duffer Camouflage


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship White Island Rum
  • 1 oz. fresh cherry puree
  • 1.5 oz. fresh watermelon juice
  • 2 Fresh Basil Leaves
Directions:
Combine White Island Rum, cherry puree, 2 spanked basil leaves, and watermelon Juice over ice and shake vigorously! Strain over a full glass of ice and fill glass with watermelon juice if needed. Garnish with a cherry and a couple of basil leaves!

Divot Decider


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship White Island Rum
  • 1 oz. strawberry puree
  • 3 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Fresh Cherry Halves
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Top with Coconut Water
Directions:
Combine White Island Rum, basil leaves, cherry halves, strawberry puree, raspberries and simple syrup over ice and shake vigorously! Strain over a full glass of ice and top with coconut water! Garnish with a fresh raspberry!

The Gimme


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Tall Ship White Island Rum
  • 1 oz. fresh cherry puree
  • 1.5 oz. fresh watermelon juice
  • 2 Fresh Basil Leaves
Directions:
Combine White Island Rum, cherry puree, 2 spanked basil leaves, and watermelon juice over ice and shake vigorously! Strain over a full glass of ice and fill glass with watermelon juice if needed. Garnish with a cherry and a couple of basil leaves!

Appledore Cider Donut


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. caramel syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Appledore Rum
  • Fill with Apple Cider
Directions:
Lightly coat glass rim with water or Caramel Syrup and dip in Cinnamon Sugar. Ice down glass if preferred. Add Appledore Rum and Caramel Syrup. Fill with Apple Cider.

Pirate's Punch


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Amaretto
  • 1.5 oz. Cedar Island Spiced Rum
Directions:
Build cocktail in glass. Combine Cedar Island Spiced Rum and Amaretto in a short glass, over ice if desired; stir. Fill with cranberry juice. Garnish with an orange slice.

Raspberry Refresher


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. White Island Rum
  • 0.5 oz. agave syrup
  • 0.5 oz. Raspberry Liqueur
  • Fill with Ginger Beer
Directions:
Build cocktail in glass. Combine White Island Rum, Raspberry Liqueur, and Agave Syrup in a short glass, over ice if desired. Stir and fill with ginger beer. Garnish with a raspberry.

Tall Ship Nog


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Appledore Rum
Directions:
Fill with eggnog and sprinkle nutmeg as garnish.

Tall Ship Maple Bacon Rumtini


Ingredients:
  • 0.5oz Butterscotch Schnapps
  • 0.5oz Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1oz Tall Ship Appledore Rum
  • Cinnamon Sugar Rim
  • Garnish with Maple Bacon Ribbon skewered on Long Toothpick
Directions:
Combine all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into cinnamon sugar rimmed glass full of ice. Add skewered bacon ribbon across top.

New England Dark & Stormy

  • Top with Ginger Beer
  • Garnish with lime slice
  • 0.5oz Lime juice
