With the launch of the first Vodka produced by Corvallis-based Vivacity Spirits, Oregon can boast the first woman owned Microdistillery in the Willamette Valley and on good authority - 1 of 5 nation-wide. Not since the days of bobbed hair and bathtub gin have women played a role in the production of distilled spirits. Vivacity Spirits is owned and operated by Caitlin Prueitt and her partner and spouse, Chris Neumann.
Caitlin brings not only her passion for distilling, but extensive knowledge in the fermentation sciences with a degree from OSU and deep experience working in wineries, breweries, and lab settings. Operating a craft, microdistillery, her plans are to provide an expanded flavor experience with new and interesting tastes, crafted with locally sourced products. Chris is a master craftsman with a background in all things construction and wood crafted. He takes great pride in the detail oriented aspects of his craft, and has always enjoyed fine spirits. In founding Vivacity Spirits, Caitlin and Chris joined their skills and passions, past and present, to create a distilled spirit worth showing off and sharing. Vivacity 75


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz. Banker's Gin
  • 1 oz. Rich Simple Syrup
  • 4 oz. Champagne
  • Garnish with Grapefruit Peal
Directions:
Combine ingredients except champagne in shaker with ice. Shake and strain into champagne flute. Top with champagne and garnish with grapefruit peel. Enjoy!

Santa Hat Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1.5 oz. pomegranate juice
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz. Rich Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Bankers' Gin
Directions:
Dry shake ingredients in shaker for 30 seconds Transfer to larger shaker full of Ice and shake until chilled Strain into Festive Martini Glass and add a splash of Pomegranate Juice on top!

Vivacity Vesper Martini


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. St. Germain
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Bankers' Gin
  • Garnish with Lemon Peel
Directions:
Shake with ice and strain into martini glass. Add lemon peel to garnish.

Bankers' Gin and & Tonic


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. & TONIC
  • 1.5 oz. Bankers' Gin
  • 3 oz. Club Soda
Directions:
Combine ingredients and enjoy!

The Bankers' Gin Sour


Ingredients:
  • 3/4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Bankers' Gin
Directions:
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass.

Tom Collins


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Banker's Gin
Directions:
Build ingredients in collins glass and serve over rocks.

Bankers' Gin & Tonic


Ingredients:
  • 1-3 parts Bankers' Gin (to taste)
  • 3 parts Tonic Water
Directions:
Combine gin and tonic water over ice. Garnish with lime slice.

Bunny Mary


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • ¼ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 oz. Carrot Juice
  • Rim mix: equal parts salt and sugar, lime zest, finely minced cilantro
Directions:
Combine lime juice, carrot juice, vodka, and cayenne in a shaker with ice. Shake. Rim glass with lime wedge and dip generously into rim mix. Fill with ice, and strain shaker over. Garnish with cilantro sprig and carrot spear.

Matcha Martini


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Vodka
  • ½ tsp. Matcha Powder
  • 2 oz. Heavy Cream
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain. Serve neat.

The Pumpkin Spice Fizz


Ingredients:
  • Ice
  • 1.5 oz. Infused Vivacity Vodka (Infusion Recipe Below)
  • 4-6 oz. Vanilla Cream Soda
  • Garnish with a cloved orange peel
Directions:
Pumpkin Spice Vodka Infusion: In a small mason jar combine 2 whole vanilla beans 2 cinnamon sticks 2 slices of fresh ginger 1 whole nutmeg, cracked open 2 whole star anise 10-15 whole allspice 10-15 cloves Fill completely with Vivacity Fine Vodka Feel free to adjust these to your taste! Allow 1-3 weeks for infusion. We found the best flavor at about 10 days.

Moscow Mule


Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • ? oz. Lime Juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a mule mug.

Corvallis Holiday Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 3 oz. Cranberry juice
  • 1 oz. Spiritopia Pomegranate Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
Directions:
Combine ingredients over ice in lowball glass.

Peach Cooler


Ingredients:
  • 3 oz. Club Soda
  • 1 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Peach Puree
  • Splash of Lime Juice
Directions:
Garnish with fresh mint and serve over ice.

Grapefruit Julep


Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 4 Mint Leaves
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Spiritopia Pomegranate Liqueur
  • 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice
Directions:
Combine ingredients in lowball glass. Enjoy!

Cosmopolitan


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • Garnish: Lemon Peel
  • Squeeze Lemon
  • Squeeze Lime
Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into martini glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

Blue Vivation


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Fine Vodka
  • 6 oz. Blueberry Juice
Directions:
Combine over ice, garnish with fresh blueberries.

P’isqu Brunch Mimosa


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz Rich Simple Syrup (2:1)
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity P’isqu
  • 3 oz. fresh squeezed Cara Cara Orange Juice
  • Seltzer: flavored or plain, we used passionfruit
Directions:
Combine juice, P’isqu, simple syrup and ice in shaker. Shake and strain into a champagne glass. Top with cold seltzer. Garnish with a cara cara orange wheel.

Christmas in Peru Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 3 oz. Cranberry juice
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Muscat Brandy P'isqu
  • 4-6 oz. Ginger Beer
  • Garnish: Candied Ginger
Directions:
Rim a glass with ginger sugar. Combine brandy and cranberry juice in a shaker with ice. Strain over glass and top off with ginger beer. Garnish with candied ginger.

Blood Orange Sour Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • .5 oz. Rich Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity P'isqu Muscat Brandy
  • 2 oz. Blood Orange Juice
Directions:
Dry shake the ingredients in a shaker for 30 seconds, and then shake with ice. After you strain cocktail into a glass don't forget to add the finishing touch of the freshly ground Nutmeg and Blood Orange Zest on top! Then garnish with a Blood Orange wedge on the rim of the glass! Give this Vivacity cocktail a try at home!

Ginger Peach P'isqu Sour


Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Muscat Brandy P'isqu
  • 0.5 oz Farm Fresh Egg White
  • 1 oz. Lola's lemon fennel shrub
  • 1/2 Peach, skinned and smashed
  • Garnish with fresh edible market flowers (calendula and borage shown here)
  • Splash of Fresh Press Northwest straight ginger juice
  • Top with a splash of Wildcraft cider (lilac, peach or rose)
Directions:
Slice peach in half. Remove skin. Add to a pint glass, smash it, releasing all that juicy goodness. Add shrub and a small splash of ginger juice (up to you how much! It's strong!) Crack egg, separate egg white, add to mix. First, dry shake (without ice), about 30 shakes. Then add ice, continue shaking. Fine strain into a pretty glass. Some like crushed ice, some don't! Garnish with edible flowers. Enjoy.

The Chilcano


Ingredients:
  • Ginger Ale
  • Angostura bitters
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
  • 0.25 oz. Fresh Ginger Juice (optional)
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Muscat Brandy P'isqu
Directions:
Add p'isqu, lime juice, ginger juice and simple syrup to cocktail shaker. Add 2 ice cubes and shake. Double strain into Collins glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with a dash of Angostura bitters and a lime wheel.

El Capitán


Ingredients:
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Muscat Brandy P'isqu
Directions:
Add all ingredient to mixing glass with ice. Stir for 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

P'isqu Punch


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz. Simple syrup
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Muscat Brandy P'isqu
  • 0.75 oz. Pineapple Simple Syrup
Directions:
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Double strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

The P'isqu Sour


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • Angostura bitters
  • 1 oz. Egg White
  • 2 oz.Vivacity Muscat P'isqu
Directions:
Add Vivacity Muscat P'isqu, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white to cocktail shaker. Dry shake to emulsify egg white. Add six ice cubes and vigorously shake for 15 seconds. Double strain and garnish cocktail with dashes of Angostura bitters.

Vivacity Native Gin Reaper


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Rich Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Black Currant Juice
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Native Gin
  • 4-6 oz. Soda Water
Directions:
Shake all but the soda water. Strain and serve over ice. Top with soda water.

Lane County Farmers Market Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz. Local Honey Syrup
  • 0.5 oz. Roasted Farmers Market Plum Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Native Gin
  • Bayleaf or other farmers market herb for garnish
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a glass, shake with liberal amounts of ice and strain into a cocktail glass Plum liqueur: Roast and reduce 4 to 6 plums, and place in a large mason jar. Add 2 cups of Vivacity Native Gin, half cup of honey syrup. Let sit at room temperature for 1 week and enjoy! Honey syrup is 2 cups of honey brought up to a boil with 1 cup of water

Farmers Market Gimlet


Ingredients:
  • 5 basil leaves
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Native Gin
  • 1 oz. Lolas Lemon fennel shrub
  • A few slices of cucumber
  • A pinky of raw unfiltered Humble Bee honey
  • Local bee pollen
Directions:
Roughly chop basil leaves, place in a pint glass with cucumber slices and add a small drop of honey and the shrub. Muddle basil to press out oils. Add gin. Fill to brim with ice. Shake. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass. Add a slice of cucumber. Sprinkle with bee pollen.

The Sylvan


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Interrobang White Vermouth
  • 1 oz. Oregon Vivacity Native Gin
  • 1 oz. Spiritopia Ginger Liqueur
  • Dash of Portland Bitters Project Woodland Bitters
Directions:
Pour liqueur, gin, vermouth, and bitters over ice in mixing glass. Stir, Strain and enjoy!

Vivacity's New Year’s Moonlight Cocktail


Ingredients:
  • 3 oz. Club Soda
  • Splash of Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Creme De Violette Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Vivacity Native Gin
  • Triple Sec to taste
Directions:
Rim glass with sugar. Combine ingredients and top with club soda.

Bee's Knees


Ingredients:
  • 3/4 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Native Gin
  • 3/4 oz. Honey Simple Syrup
  • Garnish with a lemon twist
Directions:
Add all ingredients to your shaker. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

The Native Gin Gimlet


Ingredients:
  • Simple Syrup to taste
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Native Gin
  • Juice of 1 lime
Directions:
Pour over ice, or use a shaker and strain into a chilled glass. Try spicing it up by shaking it with fresh basil, mint, or even rosemary

Poached Pear Punch


Ingredients:
  • .5 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • .75 oz. Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Traditional Rum
  • 3 oz. Pear Juice
Directions:
Add ice to your glass and strain in glass. Garnish with some fresh rosemary.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Traditional Rum
  • 8-12 oz. Hard Cider
  • Cinnamon Stick
Directions:
Combine ingredients in glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Traditional Rum Eggnog


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Vivacity Traditional Rum
  • 3 oz. Holiday Eggnog
  • Garnish with Cinnamon

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Vivacity Traditional Rum

Directions:
Mix with ice in your favorite cocktail glass & garnish with a lime.

Hot Buttered Rum


Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix (*recipe below)
  • 6 oz Hot Water
Directions:
* Special Mix Recipe - 5 to 6 servings 1/2 stick unsalted butter 1 cup dark brown sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg pinch of cloves pinch of salt

The Oregon Sidecar


Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Crescendo! AranCello Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Crescendo! LimonCello Liqueur
  • 1.5 oz. Vivacity Treos Brandy
Directions:
Pour AranCello, LimonCello, and Treos Brandy into shaker. Mix drink to a crisp chill. Strain drink into lowball glass over ice, and savor.

Turkish Coffee Frappe


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. Rich Simple Syrup (2:1)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1.0 oz. Heavy Cream
  • 1.5 oz. Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1.5 oz. Turkish Coffee Liqueur
  • ½ tsp xanthan gum
Directions:
Blend until very smooth. Rim inside of glass with chocolate syrup.

  • 1.5 oz. 4 Spirits Distillery Bourbon Whiskey
Directions:
Combine bourbon and coffee liqueur. Enjoy!

Turkish Hot Cocoa


Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Turkish Coffee Liqueur
  • 5 oz. Hot Cocoa
Directions:

Turkish Pumpkin Spice Latte


Ingredients:
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
  • 3 oz. Turkish Coffee Liqueur
  • 8 oz. Hot Fresh Roasted Coffee
  • Splash of Irish Cream
Directions:
Garnish with Whipped Cream.

Vivacity Chilicano


Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer
  • .5 oz. Lime Juice
  • Lime Twist
  • 2 oz. Muscat Brandy P'isqu
  • 2-3 drops bitters
